Fifty Shades of Grey

Here's a recent illustration that I did for Baltimore magazine, about the latest publishing phenomenon that is 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.                  The art director wanted to show mums out for coffee sneakily reading the bestselling book which has been deemed 'mommy porn' in the USA.

    A few days ago my friend told me she was going to give me her copy of this book once she'd finished it. I had never heard of it. Where have I been?!

    I do a lot of my reading (with sleeping baby) in public these days. Thanks for the top tip on how to hide my porn consumption! I only hope my copy of Ulysses is big enough...

    I Have to confess I am now on volume 3!! I wouldn't dare read it in public though! Great illustration Moira.

    I took my borrowed copy into hospital and the nurses flocked around chuckling......I'll leave it for reading in private!
